Miranda Philip is a Registered General Nurse (RGN), qualified since 1996, having trained at the John Radcliffe School of Nursing and Oxford Brookes University, where she was awarded a BA. She began her career in both NHS and private hospital settings in London before progressing into international clinical training within robotic surgery.

Working with the da Vinci Surgical System across the UK and the East Coast of the USA, she supported its clinical adoption across multiple specialties, including contributing to the introduction and development of robotic surgery services within the London area. Her work was most closely aligned with robotic prostatectomy—one of the most advanced and widely established applications of the technology—providing a foundation that continues to inform her current involvement in urology-focused services.

Since 2007, Miranda has specialised in aesthetic medicine. She holds both Graduate and Postgraduate Diplomas in Aesthetic Medicine and was awarded her Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification with distinction at Master’s level in 2015. She has served as Clinical Director of her HIS-registered and Save Face-accredited private clinic since 2018.

Miranda is an experienced clinical trainer and former academic mentor for global dermal filler brands, and continues to work as a trainer for a leading international aesthetic medicine supplier. She is a member of ACE Group Worldwide.

She also acts as an Expert Witness in medical aesthetics, providing independent opinion in relation to clinical standards, complications, and professional conduct.

Alongside her aesthetic practice, Miranda continues to advocate for men’s health, with a particular focus on prostate disease, supporting awareness of prevention and early detection. This has included the development of consultant-led screening and assessment services within the clinic environment.

In recognition of her clinical expertise and leadership, Miranda was appointed Regional Leader for the South East of Scotland by the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN).

Matt is a graduate of both the University of St Andrews and the University of Wales. He completed his junior years of medical training in Edinburgh and Fife, where he gained a broad range of expertise across multiple specialties, including Dermatology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, GI Surgery, Accident & Emergency, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and General Medicine. Passionate about pursuing a career in general practice, Matt has always been dedicated to providing high-quality care and building positive relationships with his patients.

Matt is known for his thoroughness and eagerness to solve your health concerns, taking the time to understand complex diagnoses and always giving due consideration to his patients’ concerns. He has a strong interest in sports medicine and minor surgical procedures, often performing joint injections. His passion for sports medicine led him to pursue training in Acupuncture, and he is fully qualified by the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). In recent years, Matt has also focused on expanding his expertise in men’s and women’s health, particularly Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

Matt believes in the value of continuity and unhurried consultations, allowing him to better understand each patient’s unique health needs and provide the best possible care. His wide-ranging clinical experience, combined with his diverse personal interests, has enabled him to forge meaningful connections with a variety of patients over the years.

In addition to his clinical work, Matt is an active educator within the NHS, frequently teaching GP registrars, medical students, and nurses training to become Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs). He also serves as Chair of LocumScotland and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) South East Scotland Committee.

Matt is also a registered signatory for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), authorised to certify medical documents and complete medical forms for visa, travel, and official purposes.

Mr Ben Dreyer is a substantive NHS Consultant Urologist and BPH Lead at NHS Fife, with extensive experience in both benign and cancer-related urological conditions. He is actively involved in medical education and regularly trains other consultants in advanced prostate procedures internationally.
