At The Canmore Clinic in Dunfermline, we offer Ostenil Plus knee injections as a non-surgical treatment for joint pain caused by osteoarthritis. This advanced therapy uses hyaluronic acid to improve joint lubrication, reduce stiffness, and relieve pain — helping you stay active and mobile without the need for stronger medication or surgery.

Ostenil Plus is a sterile, injectable solution containing sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid) that closely mimics the natural fluid found in healthy joints. When injected into the knee, it helps cushion and lubricate the joint, improving movement and reducing pain associated with wear and tear.
This treatment is particularly suitable for patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee or those who wish to delay or avoid surgery.
Relief may begin within a few days and continue to improve over several weeks. The effects can last for up to 6 months or longer, depending on the severity of your condition and activity level.
